February: Annual Mate Festival - Mate is a popular herbal drink in Argentina that is celebrated during this multi-day festival.
March/April: Semana Santa (Easter Week) - Also Carnaval takes place in Humahuaca the Saturday before Ash Wednesday and is characterized by great food, music, dance, folklore, and water fights.
March: Vendimia Festival in Mendoza - This is a popular festival in Mendoza with music and dance, folklore and many other exciting cultural events.

May: Feast of the Virgen of Luján - Taking place in Luján, this is the month when many partake in the annual pilgrimage from the capital to honor the patron saint.
