This eight day trip will be much appreciated by those interested in South America’s urban and country side culture. You’ll see Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Santiago as well as one of nature’s most spectacular manifestations: the Iguazu Falls

Day 01 Buenos Aires (B)

Upon arrival to EZE international airport, you will be met by an English speaking guide who will transfer you to the hotel. Then, you’ll enjoy a three hour city tour. This huge port city is the capital of Argentina and it’s packed with culture! Buenos Aires is home to the famous Teatro Colón Opera House and many museums focused on history, fine arts, and modern arts to name only a few subjects. Other landmarks include noteworthy churches, squares, and plazas, which will leave you truly impressed. Buenos Aires city centre is quite easy for orientation. The two most important avenues are Avenida de Mayo, and Avenue 9 de Julio. The pedestrian zones in the city are the Florida street and the Lavalle street. Towards the north, you’ll find the richer neighborhoods like Recoleta and Palermo. South of the city, you’ll find more modest neighborhoods like San Telmo, with its colonial buildings, and La Boca, one of the birth places of Tango. Lodging at De Las Americas Hotel in Buenos Aires

Day 02 Buenos Aires (B)

Today, spend your day at leisure. Lodging at De Las Americas Hotel in Buenos Aires

Day 03 Buenos Aires / Iguazu (B)

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Iguazú (not included). Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at the Esturion Hotel in Iguazú

Day 04 Iguazu Falls (B)

Today, enjoy an excursion to the Argentinean side of the Iguazú Falls. You’ll discover stunning views of the falls as you walk through the rainforest and bridges. There are two main paths: an upper and a lower one. The upper path leads you over the edge of the falls and the lower one goes through the forest. The tour includes a visit to a platform on the upper edge right over the Devils Gorge: the highest individual fall. Truly an unforgettable display of nature’s power and beauty! Day 05 Iguazú / Mendoza (B)

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to IGR airport for your flight to Mendoza via Buenos Aires (not included). Lodging at the Portal Suites in Mendoza

Day 06 Mendoza (B)

In the morning, enjoy a city tour of Mendoza. You will visit the city centre with its main street “Avenida San Martin”. Around the Civic Centre, you will see the Government House and the Court of Justice. Further west, the Customs and Conference Centre Buildings are imposing constructions within an Ecologic Park. Then, you will drive to “Cerro de la Gloria”, a viewpoint above General San Martin Park, which is crowned by the monument to San Martin. In the afternoon, visit 2 wineries. First, visit a traditional winery, where you will be able to visit the bodega’s very interesting museum that makes you travel to the past. Later in the tour, one of the most modern bodegas of the area will be visited. You will see the modern infrastructure and be guided through the cellars. Lodging at the Portal Suites in Mendoza

Day 07 Mendoza / Santiago de Chile (B)

You’ll be transferred to the bus terminal in Mendoza, for your public bus ride to Santiago via the Andes. Along the way, you’ll be able to appreciate beautiful views of the grand Aconcagua (the American continent’s highest mountain), and the Inca Bridge, a natural stone structure over Mendoza River. Day 08 Santiago de Chile (B)

In the morning, enjoy a city tour. You´ll see Santiago’s most important landmarks like its buildings, city center and Cerro Santa Lucia. Spend the afternoon at leisure Lodging at the Galerias Hotel in Santiago

Day 09 Santiago de Chile (B)

After breakfast, you´ll be transferred to the airport in time for your international flight.
