Discover the magic of Patagonia aboard the Skorpios III; the Kaweskar Explorers Route will take you to mythical locations such as Amalia Glacier and Pio XI Glacier, the largest in the southern hemisphere, and fjords such as Antrim and Montañas. Day 01 Saturday: Punta Arenas / Puerto Natales (B)
Upon arrival to Punta Arenas airport you will be transferred to Puerto Natales, where you’ll arrive around 7:00 pm. You’ll board the boat around 8:00 pm, and then you’ll set sail through the Patagonian Channels.
Day 02 Sunday: Antrim Fjord (B)
Today you’ll navigate through the Sarmiento, Pitt and Concepcion Channels. In the early evening you’ll arrive to Antrim fjord, where the boat will supply with water. In the evening you’ll enjoy a dancing party on board.
Day 03 Monday: Pio XI Glacier / Puerto Eden (B)
In the morning you’ll sail facing Pio XI Glacier, the biggest in South America. This glacier belongs to Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. In the afternoon you’ll arrive to Puerto Eden in Wellington Island, where you’ll get off the boat and visit the tiny village. From here you’ll take a short hike to a view point. Afterwards you’ll set sail again, passing through Paso del Indio and Paso del Abismo.
Day 04 Tuesday: Amalia Fjord / Alipio & Fernando Glaciers (B)
Today you’ll visit Amalia Fjord. You then continue through the Calvo Fjord, where you’ll see four different colored and shaped glaciers. You’ll have an excursion in an Icebreaker boat, which can get closer to the glacier (weather permitting). In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Alipio and Fernando Glaciers and afterwards you’ll sail through the Peel Fjord.
Day 05 Wednesday: Montañas Fjord / Seno Ultima Esperanza (B)
In the morning you’ll visit Montañas Fjord, from where you’ll enjoy wonderful views of the glaciers. You’ll take a short hike to Bernal glacier. In the afternoon you’ll depart towards Seno Ultima Esperanza, passing through the Kirke Narrows. In the evening you’ll enjoy a farewell dinner and ball.
Day 06 Thursday: Puerto Natales / Punta Arenas (B)
In the morning you will arrive to Puerto Natales, where you’ll disembark. Afterwards you’ll be transferred to Punta Arenas.
