Day 01 Arrival to Quito

Upon arrival to Quito airport you will be transferred to nearby Hacienda San Jorge. Lodging at Hacienda San Jorge (or similar)

Day 02 Quito (B)

Located only 25 kilometers (15 miles) south of the equator, Quito is the capital and second largest city in Ecuador. Because of its location, this city experiences a very mild climate with average temperatures around 15°C (64°F). Today you will visit Quito’s colonial district, as well as the Equatorial line, “La Mitad del Mundo” Monument. Lodging at Hacienda San Jorge (or similar)

Day 03 Otavalo (B)

Today you’ll head north, towards Otavalo, where you’ll visit Cuicocha Lake, an incredibly beautiful one! Afterwards you’ll have the opportunity to shop for good quality leather products in Cotacachi. Then you’ll visit Peguche, an indigenous town. Lodging in Otavalo

Day 04 Otavalo / Cotopaxi (B)

In the morning you’ll visit Otavalo’s animal and handicrafts markets. In the afternoon you’ll be transferred to Cotopaxi National Park area, where you’ll spend the night in a hacienda. Lodging in Cotopaxi

Day 05 Cotopaxi (B, BB)

In the morning you’ll drive up to the Cotopaxi National Park highlands, where you’ll do some easy hiking while enjoying views of the volcano. Home to one of the largest Volcanoes in the world, this park is popular to many nature lovers because of its beautiful wilderness. Great for hikers, this park offers many trails, stunning wildlife, and a beautiful backdrop! Lodging in Cotopaxi

Day 06 Cotopaxi / Baños (B, BB)

Today you’ll visit the area around Zumbagua as well as the stunning Quilotoa Lake, an old volcanic crater. Then, you’ll head towards Baños. The city is known for its many attractions such as parks, churches, and the hydrothermal springs from which it has earned its name. Baños offers visitors many tasty restaurants and elegant accommodations as well as a very vibrant nightlife. Lodging in Baños

Day 07 Chimborazo (B, BB)

Today you’ll hike up to Chimborazo’s impressive moorlands. This mountain is the country’s highest , and while here, you’ll be able to see typical highland wildlife such as vicuñas, as well as stunning views of the mountain. Lodging in Baños

Day 08 Riobamba / Ingapirca (B, BB)

Early morning you’ll depart towards Riobamba in order to catch the famed Andean Train, which passes through the “Devil’s Nose”. Afterwards you’ll continue by car towards Ingapirca, where you’ll spend the night. Lodging in Ingapirca

Day 09 Ingapirca / Cuenca (B)

In the morning you’ll visit the Ingapirca Ruins, Ecuador’s most important archaeological site. Then you’ll continue towards Cuenca, said to be Ecuador’s loveliest city. This well preserved world heritage site is home to beautiful churches, parks, and museums. Additionally, the city benefits from a mild climate and many surrounding attractions. Lodging in Cuenca

Day 10 Las Cajas National Park (B, BB)

Today you’ll visit the impressive Las Cajas National Park; a beautiful site where there are many activities available as well as an incredible landscape made up of lakes, mountains and interesting wildlife. Lodging in Cuenca

Day 11 Cuenca / Quito (B, BB)

In the morning you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Quito. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Lodging in Quito

Day 12 Departure (B)

You’ll be transferred to the international airport for your flight back home.
