Day 01 Arrival in Quito

Upon arrival to the airport you will be transferred to your city hotel. Lodging in Quito

Day 02 Quito / Galapagos (B)

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to San Cristobal Island in Galapagos. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon you’ll visit the Interpretation Center in San Cristobal, where you´ll learn about the archipelago’s natural history. Afterwards you´ll take a short hike to “Cerro de las Tijeretas”, where you’ll be able to see a frigate bird nesting colony. Lodging in Puerto Baquerizo

Day 03 Cerro Brujo / Lobos Island / Puerto Baquerizo (B, BB)

In the morning you’ll be transferred to Cerro Brujo, a beautiful site where you’ll be able to see many species of birds and enjoy a stunning white sand beach, ideal for swimming. Also you’ll visit a small salty lagoon where many birds come to feed. A box lunch will be served before continuing towards Lobos Island, nesting site of many blue footed boobies. Sea lions also lay here. Then you’ll return to Puerto Baquerizo Lodging in Puerto Baquerizo

Day 04 San Cristobal Island / Santa Cruz (B, BB)

Today you’ll be transferred to the airport around mid morning for your flight to Baltra (approximate flight time is 40 minutes). Upon arrival you will be transferred to Puerto Ayora. Along the way you’ll make a stop at El Chato, where you can see several animals, including Giant Turtles and some birds. Then you’ll hike into a lava tunnel before retuning to your hotel in Puerto Ayora. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Lodging in Puerto Ayora

Day 05 Puntudo Volcano / Tortuga Bay Beach (B)

In the morning you’ll be transferred to “Media Luna”, from where you’ll climb up to Puntudo Volcano. Along the way you’ll see agricultural areas first, and then typical highland scenery as you approach the top. Weather permitting; you’ll have wonderful views of the surroundings. Afterwards you’ll return to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will walk to Tortuga Bay, where you’ll see one of the nicest beaches in the area. In this part you’ll see sand dunes, a marine iguana colony and other types of wildlife, mangroves and a cacti forest. Lodging in Puerto Ayora

Day 06 Isabela Island (B)

Today you’ll sail for three hours to Isabela, the biggest island in Galapagos. Upon arrival to Puerto Villamil you will be transferred to your hotel, where you’ll have some time to rest. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Galapagos Turtle Rearing Center, where you’ll learn about how these animals are protected. Then you’ll visit the historic site called the “Wall of Tears”, built by prisoners in the 1950s. After some time enjoying the beach you’ll return to your hotel. Lodging in Puerto Villamil

Day 07 Sierra Negra Volcano Hiking and Chico Volcano (B, BB)

Today you’ll hike up to Sierra Negra Volcano’s crater, one of the largest in the world. In this impressive location you’ll be able to see old lava flows. Continuing your hike to Chico Volcano, you’ll see some fumaroles. After hiking back to the starting point you’ll be transferred back to Puerto Villamil. Lodging in Puerto Villamil

Day 08 Puerto Villamil (B)

Today you have the day at your leisure to relax in this on the beach or visit other points of interest along the island, such as the Flamingo Lagoon. Lodging in Puerto Villamil

Day 09 Puerto Villamil / Puerto Ayora (B)

Today you’ll sail to Puerto Ayora, where you will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, where you will learn about the research that is conducted on the islands. You’ll then have some time to spend at leisure. Lodging in Puerto Villamil

Day 10 Galapagos / Quito (B)

In the morning you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Quito. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Lodging in Quito

Day 11 Departure (B)

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
