The Flexi drive is a plan that allows you to travel throughout Nicaragua’s central and Pacific part with great freedom and flexibility. From laid back coastal towns to beautiful mountain settings, you can see whatever you want to see! This is how it works: Upon arriving to the international airport in Managua, you will be transferred to a pre booked hotel in Managua. The next morning, a rental car will be delivered to your hotel. Also, you will be given one voucher per night, to last throughout your stay. You can use those vouchers to stay at any of the participating hotels in our list. Now you are ready to explore on your own!
Day 01 Arrival to Managua
Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for the first night in Managua Lodging in San Jose (pre-booked night in Camino Real, or similar)
Day 02 Briefing, Car delivery and off on your own!
In the morning a rental car representative will deliver a 4x4 to the hotel. He will explain the rental conditions, insurance, delivery, etc. Then, depart to your favourite location! Lodging at your hotel of choice
Day 03-04 Discover Nicaragua!
These days are yours to decide what to do! Visit the beaches, mountains or volcanoes…there is plenty to choose from! Lodging at your hotel of choice
Day 05 Departure
Today, drive to the airport and drop off your car at the same time it was delivered to you (or pay an additional day to drop it off later).

- First night at Camino Real Hotel (or similar) (no meals included)
- Flexi vouchers for accommodations
- Shuttle transfer from the airport to Camino Real on the first night
- Rental car for the proper period of time
- Mandatory civil insurance including sales taxes

- Managua airport pick up/drop off extra charge
- Travel documentation with useful information: road orientation and hotel information

- -Rental car starts on day 2, and finishes the last day at the same time. If you need additional hours, then they will be charged to you directly by the rental car (typically you would get charged one extra day)
- Car Rental Conditions:
- - The following is required to rent a car:
- A valid driver’s license
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Valid credit card (the rent a car company requires a deposit)
- - A cell phone can be rented for $1,5 per day (does not include a telephone card, which can be purchased in any supermarket, gasoline station or cyber café)
- - Some credit cards include the rent-a-car insurance. Please consult with your credit card company!
