Nicaraguan Spanish Schools
(N.S.S.) (http://
pages.prodigy.net/nss-pmc/) is a consortium of three language
schools, offering an excellent total immersion Spanish language
program at all of its campuses, in León, Granada and San Juan
Del Sur. The program also allows you to spend time at all three
campuses, for the same program cost, if you so choose.
NSS offer customized courses for all levels. Their programs are
for individuals, couples, families and groups. Class size is small
and students study 4 hours daily Monday through Friday from
8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Individualized tutoring is available for
those students who want additional more intensive instruction.
Private home stay with a Nicaraguan family is included in the
basic program, and is a highly recommended part of the
immersion process for accelerated language acquisition. The
program also offers exciting weekend trips and excursions at each
school for a low additional cost.
This program has transferable university credits for students,
teachers and professionals.
The cost for the basic program is: 1 week $195, 2 weeks $365,
3 weeks $535, 4 weeks or more $175 each; Tutoring $7 per
hour. Subtract $60 per week for no home stay.
