Day 01 Managua
Upon arrival to Managua, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at Casa Naranja Hotel in Managua
Day 02 Managua / Leon (B, D)
After breakfast, one of our representatives will provide a briefing of the trip. Then, you will visit the most important monuments of Managua, the country's capital. Afterwards, we will drive from Lake Managua towards Leon, the former capital. You will walk through the colonial streets of this city, and will visit its main monuments: the Cathedral, the old University and Ruben DarÃÂo Museum. Dinner will be served in the city. Overnight at El Convento Hotel in Leon
Day 03 Leon / San Jacinto / Matagalpa / Selva Negra (B, D)
After breakfast, you'll depart to the cool regions of Nicaragua's central mountain area. Along the way you will visit San Jacinto Hot Springs and the boiling mud pots, testimony of the strong volcanic activity that takes place in the region. After passing through the town of Matagalpa, you will reach Selva Negra Lodge. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a walk through a mixed tropical forest. Overnight at Hotel Selva Negra in Matagalpa
Day 04 Selva Negra / Masaya Volcano / Granada (B, L)
In Selva Negra, bird watching just outside the door of your bungalow is amazing. After breakfast, feel free to enjoy the area on your own. Then, depart to the Pacific area towards Granada. Along the way, you will enter Masaya Volcano National Park, and will have the opportunity to observe the impressive emanations of crater Santiago. Overnight at Plaza Colon Hotel in Granada
Day 05 Granada / Isletas (B, L)
Today, you will visit several places of interest in the city, like the Cathedral, the Casa de los Leones, la Merced Church and San Francisco Convent. Then, you will enjoy a boat tour to the romantic and tropical Isletas. Lunch will be served in Puerto Asese. The rest of the afternoon, you will continue the visit to colonial Granada, one of the oldest cities in the Americas. Overnight at Plaza Colon Hotel in Granada
Day 06 Granada / Ometepe (B, L)
In the morning, you will reach Ometepe Island by ferry. Then, you'll be transferred to Playa Santo Domingo, passing through traditional little villages and the legendary Charco Verde. You will explore Maderas Volcano, as well as the rural life on the island. You will also observe the famous Petroglyphs, legacy of the Pre Columbian cultures that lived in Ometepe. In the afternoon feel free to swim, relax or walk along the beach. Overnight at Hotel Villa Paraiso in Ometepe
Day 07 Ometepe / San Juan del Sur (B)
After breakfast, return to mainland and continue towards the vacational town of San Juan del Sur. Visit the town by foot. You will find several little restaurants situated along the beach. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Victoriano Hotel in San Juan del Sur
Day 08 San Juan del Sur / Managua / Corn Island (B)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Managua Airport for your flight to Corn Island. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beach Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Casa Canada Hotel in Corn Island
Day 09 Corn Island (B)
Options abound for this day! Choose between swimming in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, biking around the island, snorkeling on the beautiful reef, enjoying delicious seafood or just being lazy and lying in the hammock! Overnight at Casa Canada Hotel in Corn Island
Day 10 Corn Island / Managua (B)
Spend the morning at leisure and continue to discover the island! In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Managua.
