Day 01 Arrival in Santiago
Transfer airport / hotel PM Santiago classic city tour (Panoramic tour) The guide will show and tell you the history of the Santa Lucia Hill -Place where Santiago was founded in 1541 by the Spanish Conquistadors-, the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Post Office and the City Hall of Santiago, The National Library, the La Moneda Government House, and the old and historical neighborhood of downtown Santiago. To the east you will be able to see some modern buildings and the changes that they have brought to the neighborhood, ending this excursion in a handicraft store, where you will enjoy a Pisco Sour and pieces of works made of lapis lazuli, a stone that exists only in Chile and Afghanistan. Day 02 Santiago/Puerto Montt/Pto Varas (B)
After your breakfast at your hotel, transfer hotel / Airport. Flight Santiago-Puerto Montt is not included (can be booked upon request) Arrival to Puerto Montt airport and transfer to the hotel in Puerto Varas. Overnight in Puerto Varas, Cabanas del Lago hotel 4*
Day 03 Puerto Varas/Osorno Volcano (B)
Today we invite you for a Puerto Montt City tour, a visit to this colorful sea port includes one of its highlights: the fish market, where classic specialties of the chilote cuisine such as the Curanto, the Pulmay and the Cancato, are offered. Tasty fish and shellfish as well as a visit to an interesting handicraft market blend in to provide the best example of the striking local colorful lifestyle that provide such an ambience even today attracts painters and photographers. Visit to Puerto Varas, known as the City of Roses thanks to its beautiful gardens. We will visit its downtown area and then the shore of Llanquihue Lake, visiting Philippi hill, and its German-style colonial architecture. Afterwards you will continue touring, but this time, you will visit the Osorno Volcano, a perfect-shaped cone volcano located in the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, crowned the Lake Region landscape. We will drive you up to the ski center; here you will have the chance to take the lift discovering an astonishing panoramic view. Overnight at Puerto Varas with buffet breakfast.
Day 04 Full day excursion to Ancud in the Chiloe Island. (B, L)
Breakfast at the Hotel- Full day excursion to Ancud in the Chiloe Island. In the Southern part of the continent where geography breaks down into countless islands and archipelagos, after a placid crossing of the Chacao channel, we are taken by the culture of the Chiloe island so strongly matriarchal, where Catholic and pagan beliefs mingle to give birth to legends and myths, and the result of community Mingas can be seen on the colorful architecture and the artistic hand-made shingles. A simple but very scenic road takes us to Ancud where the history of the island becomes real in its museum and the landscape springs out from its hills. Day 05 Andean Crossing Chile-Argentina (B)
Cruce Andino invites you to sail along the Andes Mountain Range throughout the crystal Andean lakes and imposing volcanoes, an area that contains two important National Parks: the Nahuel Huapi in Argentina and the Vicente Perez Rosales on the Chilean side, two examples of how nature has preserved and will continue preserving this veritable paradise on earth. At the Vicente Perez Rosales Park, you will also have the chance to visit the Petrohue River Falls, originated by volcanic eruptions, and then continue to the Todos Los Santos Lake, featured by the emerald-colored waters. At the pier you will get on board the catamaran to begin the sailing through this lake. You will have fantastic panoramic view of the Osorno and Calbuco Volcanoes over pure waters. After two-hour navigation, you will arrive in Peulla, a heavenly hidden mountain village, where you could have lunch at the Hotel (not included). Then you will get on board a bus for the next stage of your trip. You will go through Chilean Customs in order to enter Argentina. The pass over the Andes is only 976 m (3201 ft) above sea level. On the Argentine side, you will descend to Puerto FriÃ‚Âas. You will sail across the FriÃ‚Âas Lake, the third lake in the crossing to Puerto Alegre. From here you'll have excellent views of the imposing Tronador Mountain. Day 06 Bariloche Short Circuit (B)
Breakfast - The tour to Circuito Chico (Small Circuit) starts in San Carlos de Bariloche, visiting different interesting spots along 60 km. (37 mi.) on the coast of Nahuel Huapi Lake. Short Circuit The Circuito Chico is Bariloche’s presentation. It is a trip to enjoy and savor. The beauty of the landscape is present throughout the course. Various points along the way and some natural viewpoints, as Bahia Lopez and Punto Panoramico, are ideal to contemplate this marvel. The Cerro Campanario chairlift, located in the "middle of the land scape" (Km 17), raises you to "the precise height of wonder" to enjoy the most beautiful view of the area. In front of Puerto Panuelo, the Llao Llao Hotel and San Eduardo Chapel, are unique attractions for visitors. The Circuito Chico is a full-ride. In addition to the landscape, there is a wide range of handmade regional products: textile, wood, candles, ceramics, cosmetics, among others, are an unavoidable part of this trip, which you must do. Day 09 Private City Tour with guide - (B)
You will discover the beauty and magic of Buenos Aires, the traditional tour of the city. Starting from Colón Theatre we can see the Obelisco, a national symbol then you will visit PLAZA DE MAYO: historical, political and foundational epicenter. In this particular square we can underline the Metropolitan Cathedral, Government House, the Cabildo and the Municipality. This journey continues southwards, walking along old-stoned streets, ornamented with a hundred-year-old streetlamps and houses. The next step is SAN TELMO neighborhood, closely associated with Tango. Following the same direction we arrive to La Boca neighborhood. There we find Boca Juniors Football Stadium, which is the maximum example of Argentina’s Passion: Football. In this neighborhood we can find the conventillos which are colorful buildings with sheet roofs. These were the places where years ago Italian immigrants choose to live, but nowadays the conventillos are the houses where poor people live. We will visit CAMINITO: the most tourist place of the area. Bordering the Riachuelo, our tour continues northwards, visiting the old port we can notice how the physiognomy of the city changes. We can see recycled dikes in the front part of PUERTO MADERO. In the area of Retiro / San Martín Square, we connect with Libertador Ave. and we enter the north of Buenos Aires City. We will visit Palermo, which is a residential neighborhood with parks and elegant buildings. We can see San Martiniano Institute, embassies, museums and significant monuments. Lastly we arrive to the region known as Bosques (Woods), among the most important places we will visit El Rosedal, Carta Magna y las Cuatro Regiones de Argentina Monument and the Zoo. In the imposing Libertador Ave. we finally arrive to the sophisticated RECOLETA, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods, where, among other attractions, we can find the famous Cemetery and elegant cafes and restaurants. This is the end of the journey and the beginning of your romance with Buenos Aires
