Day 01 Arrival in San Jose

Arrival at San Jose Airport and transfer to your hotel Hotel Tryp Sabana by Wyndham

Day 02 Shuttle transfer to Arenal (B, D)

Today you will have a shuttle transfer to Arenal. Positioned within Costa Rica's fertile northern lowlands, the Arenal Volcano is an unavoidable presence while traveling within this part of the country. It is tall and imposing and has a reputation that precedes itself. Arenal's perfectly symmetrical shape makes it a sightseer's dream, while its abundance of outdoor activities makes it an easy place to check things off your must-do in Costa Rica list. Lodging at Hotel Arenal Springs Jr suite. B incl Arrival at the hotel y noon. In the afternoon around 3pm you will be picked up at the hotel for a hike tour and hot springs tour! Enjoy the most extraordinary view of the Arenal Volcano on a gentle Hike along the base of this marvelous volcano. The hike begins in one the trails close to the volcano, this trail will take us through the forest over recent lava flows and the area destroyed in 1968 now in the process of regeneration. Then visit the volcanic thermal mineral pools at the Hot Springs, where you can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak and enjoy of a delicious dinner. Includes: Transportation, naturalist guide, entrance fee & hot springs. Meals: Dinner Duration: Half day

Day 03 Sky Tram & Sky Trek Tour (B)

Today you will enjoy a thrilling adventure. Sky Trek starts with a tour in the Sky Tram to reach the top of the Arenal reserve, then begins a tour of adventure full of adrenaline above the treetops, which consists on a system of zip lines, that allows you to observe the rainforest and its landscape from a different perspective, safely in an innovative and different system. Sky trek must be booked including the Sky Tram. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 1.7 miles with distances from 100 to 2460 feet, and with a maximum height of 660 feet, which exceed the treetops providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake. Sky Tram is a 20-minute aerial tram tour that starts in the Reception and reaches a wide observation deck at the highest point of the Arenal Reserve, from where you can observed the rain forest, the Arenal volcano and lake. It consists of six gondolas for up to 6 people each and the trip length is 1250 mts. The journey in Sky Tram takes around 20 minutes one way with the possibility of intermediate with short stops that will be supplemented with information of a naturalist guide. Once you have reached the observation deck, you can enjoy a walk through one of the trails with duration of 30 minutes. Rest of the day at leisure

Day 04 Shuttle transfer to Manuel Antonio Natl Park (B)

Manuel Antonio is just south of Quepos on the Pacific Coast, where we will be heading today. Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. These beaches are the most beautiful in the country, lined with lush forest, and the snorkeling is excellent too. The forest is home for sloths, iguanas, the rare and adorable squirrel monkeys and millions of colorful little crabs. And the trail that winds around Punta Catedral affords some spectacular views. Day 05 Day at leisure in Manuel Antonio (B)

Visiting the park, one is treated to an abundant diversity of wildlife. Cathedral Point, with its forest topped cliffs was once an island, but is now connected to the coast by a thin strip of island. This land bridge now forms the spine separating the parks two most popular beaches, Playa Espadilla Sur and Playa Manuel Antonio. The southern facing beach, Playa Manuel Antonio, is a picturesque half mile long, white sand crescent bisecting deep green foliage to one side and a private, secluded cove to the other.

Day 06 Transfer to Quepos Airport /Flight Quepos-Palmar Sur (B, D)

Early morning pick up at your hotel and transfer to the local Quepos airport for a domestic flight south to Palmar Sur. Upon arrival to Palmar Sur you will be transferred by local taxi for 20 minutes drive to Sierpe where a boat trip will take you to the Drake Bay area (approx. 2 hours). Wet landing at Casa Corcovado!! Overnight at Casa Corcovado (FAP/FB) Ecologically varied, the Corcovado National Park is among the most biologically intense places on earth. Located on the wild and untamed Osa Peninsula, this national park is breathtakingly beautiful. Home to the largest and only tropical primary lowland rainforest in the world, the Corcovado National Park is also the habitat of a plethora of endangered plant and animal species.

Day 07 Corcovado National Park (B)

Day trip to Corcovado National Park. This National Park has a great range of biological diversity and has attracted the attention of tropical ecologists who wish to study the intricate workings of the rain forest. It is home to more than 400 species of birds and more than a hundred species of amphibians and mammals, including monkeys, scarlet macaws, coatimundis and other wildlife. According to National Geographic, this region of Costa Rica is the most biologically intense place on earth. Overnight at Casa Corcovado (FAP/FB)

Day 08 Cano Island (B, L, D)

Day trip by boat to Cano Island Reserve. Time to relax and swim, or hike through the island. This 300 ha island is known for its Indian cemetery and also known for its coral reefs and a variety of marine life. Even ponderous Humpback Whales can often be seen breaking the surface of the water in their season of migration (December and January). Overnight at Casa Corcovado (FAP/FB)

Day 09 Osa Peninsula-San Jose (B)

After breakfast, transfer by boat and taxi to Palmar Sur and flight back to San Jose. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel for your last night. Hotel Tryp Sabana by Wyndham

Day 10 Transfer out (B)

Transfer out to airport
