Day 01 Arrival to Lima
Upon arrival to Lima one of our representatives will meet you at the airport and will transfer you to the hotel. Resting on the Peruvian coastline, Lima is the country’s largest city with nearly ten million people. Declared a World Heritage Site, downtown Lima is filled with many historic, colonial buildings, such as the famous Cathedral of Lima and the Presidential Palace. Day 02 Lima (B, L)
Enjoy a full day culinary tour, where you will be part of cooking lessons, will visit typical markets and will have lunch. Lodging at the San Agustin Colonial in Lima
Day 03 Lima / Cusco / Sacred Valley (B, L)
Early transfer to the airport (flights not included). After arrival to Cusco, visit the salt mines in Maras: an arrangement of terraces where salt is gathered in small pools, which are then filled by hot spring water containing a large percentage of salt. Continue to Moray, where the Incas built terraces that were used as botanical laboratories to improve their harvest. Continue the excursion to Ollantaytambo Fortress, an archeological complex including main squares, temples and terraces. The fortress is located 97 Km. from Cusco. Lunch included. (private service). Day 04 Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Aguas Calientes (B, L)
Early morning escorted transfer to the train station, where you will board the train headed to Aguas Calientes station. Then, transfer by bus to the ruins. Afterwards, enjoy a guided excursion to the Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu. This is the most famous and impressive Incan site. Divided into three districts; this site was intricately built using impressive, ancient techniques. Then, buffet lunch is included. In the afternoon return to Aguas Calientes Town. Day 05 Aguas Calientes / Cusco (B)
You’ll spend the morning at leisure (no guide or entrance fees included) In the afternoon return by train to Cusco. At arrival, transfer to the hotel. Lodging at the San Agustin Internacional in Cusco
Day 06 Cusco (B)
In the morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour to the Imperial City of Cusco. You'll Visit the Main Square, the Cathedral, Koricancha or Santo Domingo Convent; and the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Kenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. (regular service). Day 07 Cusco / Lima / Departure (B)
Transfer to the airport for your local flight to Lima. Afterwards, visit the Colonial zone of Lima, passing by the San Martin Square, Main Square and old Colonial streets in downtown Lima. You will visit also the Cathedral, San Francisco Church and the Convent. You'll see also the Olivar Park at San Isidro and Love’s Park at Miraflores, in the modern part of Lima. You'll then be transferred to the airport.
