Day 01 Arrival at Cartagena (D)

Upon arrival to Cartagena meet with guide and transfer to your hotel. 3 nights at Decameron Cartagena All inclusive Hotel Declared part of the UNESCO World Heritage in 1984, Cartagena encapsulates all the charm of Spanish colonial architecture, the republic period and today, the attractions of intense night-life, cultural festivals, exotic scenery,superb beaches, and wonderful food. Walk the streets, look at the Spanish colonial buildings – the Palace of the Inquisition, the Clock-Tower and the Castle of San Felipe de Barajas; enjoy the soft, warm breezes as you pass through the squares and plazas.

Day 02 Private Half Day City tour (B, D)

This fascinating half day tour starts with the visit of the most representative monuments of Cartagena starting at the Convent of La Popa (highest point of the city). It continues to the Castillo de San Felipe, an immense fort filled with history and mysteries hidden in its stone-walled tunnels, leaving the castle we visit the monument of Zapatos Viejos, the Old Shoes. The most impressive definitely is the huge defensive wall that surrounds the old city, which overlooks the sea and its well-preserved colonial architecture. During the rest of the visit you will see the cities churches, museums, plazas, restaurants, shops and jewelry stores. This combination makes Cartagena deserving the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site as you will never forget this wonderful destination. Duration: 4 hours approximately.

Day 03 Full day Rosario Islands (B, L, D)

Our departure takes off in speed boat from the “Muelle Santa Cruz towards Rosario Islands and Isla de Majagua. On arrival, a fruit cocktail is served. Now we have time to swim or relax on the small island with white sandy beaches awaits you. The trip continues to San Marti­n Island with a visit of the aquarium and a chance to see performing dolphins and sharks. After that we begin the return trip to Pirate Island. After lunch (Fish, Coconutrice and a great dessert is served) we will have more time to relax, swim or snorkel. In the afternoon we return to Cartagena. (Trip will be conducted in the company of an international group of tourists, under the supervision of a bilingual guide. The entrance to the aquarium costs 13 USD per person and is not included). Please note that there´s no individual tourguide on board just a general one for the whole group. Duration: 9 hours approximately.

Day 04 Ground Transfer Cartagena/Santa Marta (B, D)

Trip in an air-conditioned automobile or tourist bus, from your hotel in Cartagena to your hotel in Santa Marta, including pick up and drop off at your hotel. Duration: 4-5 hours. Santa Marta, the Sierra Nevada, the bay and all their surroundings are full of indescribable magic. Day 05 Tayrona National Park (B, D)

The beaches of the Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, fringed by a virgin and exuberant nature, are among the most beautiful in the world. The rivers and jungles that descend the mountainside are full of animal life. Parrots and hollering monkeys stand out as they alert other animals to the presence of hikers. Departure at Santa Marta in the morning going east along the Caribbean coast till El Zaino, the main entrance of Tayrona Park and 1 hour away from Santa Marta. Arrival at Canaveral beach, one of the wildest and most beautiful spots in the Tayrona Park. From the top of a small hill it will be possible to enjoy the spectacular view of the Atlantic Coast. Tour continues with 1-hour hiking through tropical forest to Arrecife, another marvelous beach of Tayrona Park. There will be plenty of time to have lunch (not included), swim and relax. Duration: 9-10 hours approximately

Day 06 Day at leisure in Santa Marta (B, L, D)

Some ideas of how to spend your day at leisure (on your own): - Walking around the historical center and visiting the cathedral and the museums; from the Bastidas promenade, you can enjoy a romantic sunset. - A boat tour to the beaches. -Scuba diving in gorgeous reefs. - A night of dancing to the beat of native drums. - The Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta. -The Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. - The Mamancana Natural Reserve, for extreme sports and adventure. - The village of Taganga. -Swimming with dolphins at the Acuario El Rodadero
