Day 01 Santiago (D)
Upon arrival to Santiago, you will be transferred to the hotel. Located in the country’s central valley, Santiago is one of Latin America’s most advanced metropolises with advanced transport, impressive high rises, and dozens of shopping malls. With dozens of parks, museums, historic structures and theaters, this city is full of exciting activities. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour around Santiago, visiting the city’s most outstanding attractions, including a walking tour downtown. Then, by vehicle, visit the main avenues of old Santiago, crossing the bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista and San Cristobal Hill, for a magnificent panoramic view. Afterwards, visit modern Santiago. The tour ends at the artisan village of “Los Graneros Del Alba”, where you’ll have time to look around and shop. Dinner and lodging in Santiago
Day 02 Santiago / Calama / San Pedro de Atacama (B, D)
You’ll be transferred to the airport in time for the flight to Calama. Upon arrival to Calama airport, you’ll be transferred to the village of San Pedro de Atacama. You’ll pass through the Domekyo and Salt Mountain Ranges. In the afternoon, visit the Moon Valley and admire the spectacular sunset reflected on this wonderful landscape. Day 03 Salar de Atacama / Toconao (B, D)
In the morning, visit the archeological museum, with an important anthropological collection of the Atacamenian culture. Then continue to the Indian fortress of Quitor, where Atacamenian families live and work the land. Also, visit the ruins of Tulor, an ancient village abandoned more than 3000 years ago. In the afternoon visit the village of Toconao, famous for its volcanic Liparite stone. Then, travel to the Atacama Salt Lake and the Chaxa lagoon, after a short walk in the Jeri valley. In the Chaxa lagoon you’ll be able to see native pink flamingoes. Return to San Pedro de Atacama Dinner and Lodging in Atacama
Day 04 El Tatio Geisers (B, D)
In the early morning (4:00 am), you’ll depart towards the Geysers del Tatio. You’ll enjoy a box breakfast in the Geysers before a gentle guided walk around the geothermal field, where you’ll be able to see the natural steam columns. This phenomenon is best observed as the sun rises over the Andes Mountains. Afterwards, return to San Pedro, enjoying spectacular views of the Torcopuri y Sairecabur volcanoes. Also, you’ll stop along the way at Puritama Hot Springs, where it is possible to bathe in the warm waters (30°C). Upon returning to San Pedro, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Day 05 Calama / Puerto Montt / Puerto Varas (B, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be transferred to Calama airport for your flight to Puerto Montt via Santiago. Upon arrival to Puerto Montt, you’ll be transferred to the hotel in Puerto Varas. This lakeside spot is known for its German influence, great cuisine, and natural beauty. Located along the large Lake Llanquihue, Puerto Varas possesses splendid viewpoints of both the lake and the nearby Osorno Volcano. Day 06 Puerto Montt / Frutillar / Petrohue (B, L)
Today, first you will enjoy a visit to the town of Puerto Varas. You’ll see the streets and avenues adorned with rose bushes and the Philippi Hill with wonderful views of Lake Llanquihue and Osorno Volcano. Then, continue to Puerto Montt and the fishermen village of Angelmó with its wonderful selection of arts and crafts. Then, you’ll return to Puerto Varas. In the afternoon visit Frutillar. Along the way, you’ll be able to admire the majestic Osorno Volcano and Llanquihue Lake. The tour includes a visit to upper and lower Frutillar and its church. Continuing along the southern shore of Lake Llanquihue, you’ll stop at the Petrohue River falls (Lunch included). We continue to the small port of Petrohue on the shore of All Saint’s Lake. Day 07 Ancud / Castro (B, D)
You’ll depart from Puerto Varas and travel via Puerto Montt to take the Pan-American route to the south. Then, you’ll take a ferry to the village of Chacao, before continuing to Caulin. There, you’ll have the opportunity to see a lot of wildlife and to taste the local oysters (optional). Continue to Ancud, where you’ll visit the Main Square (Plaza de Armas). Then, continue along the coast to the Quitalmahue Gulf and the fort of San Antonio. In Castro, visit the palafitos, colorful houses built over the water on stilts and the main square with its impressive cathedral. From the Gamboa lookout there is a wonderful opportunity for photographs before returning to Puerto Varas. Dinner and lodging in Puerto Varas
Day 08 Puerto Varas / Punta Arenas / Puerto Natales (B, D)
You’ll be transferred to Puerto Montt airport for your flight to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival to Punta Arenas, you’ll be transferred to the bus station for a regular bus to Puerto Natales. Upon arrival to Puerto Natales bus station, you’ll be met by one of our representatives and transferred to the hotel. Dinner and lodging in Puerto Natales
Day 09 Torres del Paine (B, L, D)
Today, enjoy a full day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park. Along the way, you will visit the Milodon Cave. The journey continues through steppes and Patagonia scrub abundant with wild life and herds of sheep, up to Torres del Paine National Park. In the park, a large variety of native fauna especially large herds of guanacos can be observed. Visit the Salto Grande of the Pehoe River, with the impressive mountain massif of Torres Del Paine in the background. Then visit to Lake Pehoe, Lake Grey and Grey Glacier. Return to Puerto Natales in the evening. Dinner and lodging in Puerto Natales
Day 10 Balmaceda & Serrano Glaciers (B, L, D)
Today, you’ll have a full day excursion to Mount Balmaceda and Glacier Serrano. Early in the morning, you’ll sail from Puerto Natales and you’ll visit the beautiful Ultima Esperanza Fjord. After 3 hours of navigation, you’ll arrive to the thousand year old glacier of Mount Balmaceda, habitat of cormorants and sea lions. At the end of the fjord, disembark and walk approximately 1 kilometer (3/4 mile) on a path through the middle of a wonderful native forest to the foot of the Glacier Serrano. From there, you’ll admire this huge natural wonder. Stay here for a couple of hours before returning to Puerto Natales in the afternoon. Dinner and lodging in Puerto Natales
Day 11 Puerto Natales / Punta Arenas / Santiago (B, D)
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the bus station to board a regular service bus to Punta Arenas. In Punta Arenas airport, board your flight to Santiago. Upon arrival to Santiago, you will be transferred to the hotel. Dinner and lodging in Santiago
Day 12 Santiago (B)
At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight.
