Day 01 Arrival in Lima

Upon arrival to Lima one of our representatives will meet you at the airport and will transfer you to the hotel. Resting on the Peruvian coastline, Lima is the country’s largest city with nearly ten million people. Declared a World Heritage Site, downtown Lima is filled with many historic, colonial buildings, such as the famous Cathedral of Lima and the Presidential Palace. Visitors will fall in love with the diverse cuisine served in the city’s countless restaurants, including the ever popular exquisite local seafood! Lodging at the San Agustin Colonial Hotel in Lima

Day 02 Lima / Arequipa (B)

Transfer to the airport for your internal flight to Arequipa. Arequipa is one of the country’s most important cities. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Arequipa´s historic downtown is home to many white buildings made with a pearly volcanic rock. While here, enjoy the city’s many famous plazas, squares, parks, and historic structures and monuments. Upon arrival to Arequipa, you will be transferred to the hotel. Day 03 Arequipa / Puno (B)

You’ll be transferred to the bus station, for your 5 hour bus ride to Juliaca. Upon arrival, you’ll be met at the airport for your transfer to Puno. Along the way, you will visit the famous Pre-Inca tombs of Sillustani located on the shores of the solitary Umayo Lagoon. These tombs or Chullpas with circular shaped towers were a cemetery for the religious leaders of Tiawanacu Culture, almost 2000 years ago. Puno, located along Lake Titicaca is known for its strong culture, and has thus been referred to as Peru’s folkloric capital. Lodgingat the Casa Andina Hotel in Puno

Day 04 Puno (B, L)

Today, enjoy a full day tour to the Uros Islands, an Indian community best known for its traditional way of living. The floating islands are located within the Titicaca National Reserve. Lodging at the Casa Andina Hotel in Puno

Day 05 Puno / Cusco (B, L)

Today you’ll be transferred to the bus station for your journey to Cusco. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. What was once an important Incan city stands today as a Spanish colonial city as well. For that reason, you can enjoy both the Incan ruins as well as the impressive colonial architecture that Cusco has to offer. Day 06 Cusco (B)

Today, you will spend the afternoon at your leisure. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Plaza de Armas, the Temple of the Sun, and the four Archaeological Sites located nearby: Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Kenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Lodging at the San Agustin Internacional Hotel in Cusco

Day 07 Machu Picchu (B, L)

Transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will take the Vista dome coach for a 2 hour journey to the citadel. Upon arrival to the station of Aguas Calientes, continue by bus. Afterwards, enjoy a guided excursion to the Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu. This is the most famous and impressive Incan site. Divided into three districts; this site was intricately built using impressive, ancient techniques. Lunch in Aguas Calientes is included. In the afternoon, take your train back to Cusco. Day 08 Sacred Valley of the Incas (B, L)

In the morning, you will enjoy a full day excursion that will take you to the “Sacred Valley of the Incas”. You will pass Pisac, with its typical market, and picturesque cultivated terraces in the mountain slopes. Pisac is also famous for its fairs. Lunch is included. In the afternoon, continue up the Urubamba valley and visit the Fortress of Ollantaytambo. Then, return to Cusco. Lodging at the San Agustin Internacional Hotel in Cusco

Day 09 Cusco / Lima (B)

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima (not included).
