Day 01 Arrival in Bogota
Upon arrival to Bogota's airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. 3 nights at Hotel Cite Located in a comfortable urban zone in the most important business and entertainment area of the city and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Virrey Park.
Day 02 Private Half day city Tour (B)
Breakfast. This guided visit to the Colombian capital starts at the Plaza de Bolivar (the city's main square) and government buildings situated around it and continues in the old colonial part of the city better known as La Candelaria, the San Francisco Church and the Gold Museum (closed on Mondays). The tour finishes with a trip in a funicular railway or cable car to the top of the Monserrate Hill offering a spectacular view of the city. Duration: 4 hours approximately.
Day 03 Zapaquira Salt Cathedral (B)
Leaving BogotÃ¡ to the north, we cross the savanna landscape to the town of ZipaquirÃ¡, about 50 km away. Upon arrival you will be able to visit the fully functioning Salt Cathedral. This unique building was constructed approximately 120 meters underground in a former salt mine. The trip ends with a visit to ZipaquirÃ¡â€™s charming central square. Duration: approximately 4 hours.
Day 04 Bogota/Pereira / Coffee Tour (B)
Breakfast Flight Bogota/Pereira (not included on the price) Upon arrival welcome by the local guide and departure to Hacienda San Jose. COFFEE PRODUCTION PROCESS TYPICAL: Visit to a special coffee growing farm. This exciting visit includes a technical and practical introduction about the whole coffee cultivation and production process, from the harvest to the cup. We will be transformed into real coffee collectors, having a great authentic experience.
Day 05 Cocora Valley & Salento Village (B)
Breakfast With breathtaking landscapes this is one of the most beautiful valleys in Colombia. Here one will find the impressive Palma de Cera, the Colombian national tree and one of the tallest varieties of palm in the world. On the way back to Pereira the tour ends with a visit to Salento a picturesque village with has an important coffee culture. Hacienda San Jose
Day 06 Pereira/Cartagena (B)
Breakfast Transfer our to Airport for your flight Pereira-Cartagena(flight is not included on the price) Upon arrival to Cartagena met with guide and transfer to your hotel. Hotel Capilla del Mar
Day 07 Private Half day Cartagena City Tour (B)
This fascinating half day tour starts with the visit of the most representative monuments of Cartagena starting at the Convent of La Popa (highest point of the city). It continues to the Castillo de San Felipe, an immense fort filled with history and mysteries hidden in its stone-walled tunnels, leaving the castle we visit the monument of Zapatos Viejos, the Old Shoes. The most impressive definitely is the huge defensive wall that surrounds the old city, which overlooks the sea and its well-preserved colonial architecture. During the rest of the visit you will see the cities churches, museums, plazas, restaurants, shops and jewelry stores. This combination makes Cartagena deserving the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site as you will never forget this wonderful destination. Duration: 4 hours approximately.
