The Amacayacu National Park is located in the south part of the Colombian Amazon. Here you can see numerous varieties of monkeys, macaws, caimans, pink dolphins and the majestic “Victoria Regia”, the world’s biggest water-lily.
Day 1 Leticia (B, D)
After arriving in Leticia, welcome by the local travel guide and transfer to a pleasant Leticia hotel. Rest of the afternoon is free to explore Leticia at leisure. Lodging in Leticia
Day 2 Leticia – Amacayacu (B, L, D)
After breakfast, trip along the Amazon River to the lodge in the Amacayacu National Park, approximately two hours from Leticia. In the afternoon, you can opt to take a walk in the surrounding area on a special jungle path or kayak. At night, enjoy a canoe ride to Matamata River to hear the unique sound of the rainforest. Day 3 Amacayacu (B, L, D)
After breakfast visit the Tarapotos Lagoons and then continue to Puerto Nariño to observe the pink dolphins.
Day 4 Amacayacu – Leticia (B)
After breakfast, return trip to Leticia and transfer to the airport.
