Day 01 Arrival in Santiago

Day 02 Santiago/Calama /San Pedro de Atacama (B)
Transfer to the Santiago Airport in order to take your flight to Calama (flight is not included can be booked upon request) Calama Airport reception and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Visit to the Chaxa Lagoon. Looking for a quiet sunset time, we invite you to visit the Chaxa Lagoon; on the route you will visit the town of Toconao and its main square, church and bell tower (National Monuments). We continue into the Atacama Salt Flat to Chaxa lagoon, where you will be able to admire the flocks of flamingos in their natural habitat and enjoy the extraordinary scenic beauty. Day 03 Atacama Salt Flats (B)
Visit to the Cejar Lagoon in the middle of the Atacama Salt Flat. The Cejar lagoon is 20 kilometers away from San Pedro de Atacama and its situated in the middle of the Atacama Salt flat at 2.600 meters above the sea level. This lagoon is dominated by beautiful sceneries, its deep-turquoise-color water, and the contrast of the white salt formations. This extraordinary case of geo-morphological formation is unique in the Atacama salt flat and it is part of the immigration trajectory of the pink flamingos. Swimming trunks and bathing suit are required if you are willing to experience the closest feeling of flying. Return to the town for lunch (not included) and during the afternoon you will have time at leisure, to enjoy and discover the center of the village... its museum, its main square and the church, the biggest church built in Atacama region and then you could visit the handicraft market watching closer what the locals have to offer Accommodation in double occupancy with buffet breakfast.
Day 04 Sandboarding at Death Valley (B)
Sandboarding at the Death Valley (4 km away from San Pedro) This morning you will have an once-in-a-lifetime experience... Sandboarding at the Death Valley. Descend through the dunes on a surfboard - it is a unique practice. The dunes suitable for this activity are located in the Death Valley, 4 km away from San Pedro. You will drive from your hotel to the Death Valley in the middle of the Salt Mountain Range, where the guide will give you all the directions needed so you can have fun. Surfing in sand it's an unforgettable experience, not just for the charm of the place, but the vertigo that you will feel when you descend down the dunes at more than 120 meters. Day 05 Andean Villages and lagoons (B, L)
Today will visit the Atacama Salt flat and Andean villages of Toconao and Socaire. Moreover visit to the lagoons of Miscanti, Minique Lunch included: Set menu no beverages Today we are driving even deeper into the desert, going to the Atacama Salt flat to visit the lagoons and tiny quaint villages as Toconao and Socaire will be visited on route to the Salt. Toconao is well known for its construction in Liparita, a volcanic stone, which is used for house construction. Socaire is other small village in the route to the salt flat. To reach to the lagoons, it is necessary to drive up the mountain ranch where Miscanti and Minique are, with an intense blue color and surrounded by white edges. Day 06 Tatio Geysers/Space obs (B)
The Tatio Geysers are located 121 kilometers away from San Pedro with an altitude of 4300 Mts. Here you will enjoy the overwhelming vapor columns and fumaroles sight, where water boils at hundreds degrees. Arriving at the geysers before sunrise is a must, which is why the main part of the route has to be done during night. After this beautiful experience and a gorgeous view of nature, return to the village. Afternoon at leisure to recover energy... During the evening, we invite you to discover one of the clearest skies in the world. You will visit the boutique observatory named Spaceobs, on your arrival you will receive instructions about the activity, and an interesting talk about the stars, the planet and our galaxy. You will admire the open sky with a naked eye and having the chance to use any of the telescopes to have a better and clearer look into the space. Note: Astronomical Tour is provided only in SIB
Day 07 Calama/Santiago (B)
After breakfast, drive back to Calama airport to fly out to Santiago.(flight is not included) Holiday Inn Accommodation in the hotel near the Santiago Airport.
Day 08 Santiago/Punta Arenas/Pto Natales (B)
Transfer to the Airport to take your flight to Punta Arenas.(flight is not included) Transfer to Puerto Natales. MARTIN GUSINDE HOtel Accommodation in double room with buffet breakfast.
Day 09 Full day to visit the Torres del Paine National Park (B)
Full day to visit the Torres del Paine National Park The excursion begins visiting the Milodon Cave Natural Monument located on the Benitez Hill, 25 Km away from Puerto Natales. In this place during the 19th century the remains of an herbivorous prehistoric animal were found. This animal became extinct in the end of the Pleistocene. As well as the huge historical and scientific mean, the Milodon Cave has an important tourist attractive in the beautiful landscape surrounding the cave and the location just 88 kilometers south of the Torres del Paine National Park, making this a must for tourists traveling to or from the park. It is necessary a half-an-hour walk to get into the cave. Here you will observe the stalactites, places where the remains were found and a replica of Milodon. Afterward a technical stop is held in the village of Cerro Castillo; where there are possibilities to purchase some products, enjoy the coffee service or just a break to testify the beauty of the surroundings. Continuing the trip toward Torres del Paine National Park, visitors will be able to enjoy the most diverse landscapes, such as, the Magellan deciduous forest and the vast Patagonian steppe dominated by wind and aridity. On the way it is possible to see Patagonian Guanaco, South American camel, and the endemic Nandu, relative of the African Ostrich. Once we get to the 242.000-hectare park, with dozen lakes populated by marine birds, turquoise lakes, waterfalls and mountains covered by ice are the predominant landscape inside the park. A 15-minute walk is necessary toward the Waterfall (Salto Grande), which is communicating two big lakes inside the park, Nordenskjold and Pehoe Lakes. Finally you will visit the Grey Lake, to get to the beach is necessary to cross a suspension bridge and forest. From the shore you will see the Grey Glacier, which is one of the largest in the area and it is also portion of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Day 10 Torres del Paine (B)
Day 11 Sailing Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier (B)
Sailing through Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier in the Bernardo Ohiggins National Park, seeing from the boat the Puerto Bories cold storage plant. The Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers are located inside the Bernardo OHiggins National Park, which is located 31 miles to the Northwest of Puerto Natales and it is part of the Andean Mountain Range. Visiting the park is the synonym of a wonderful place, barely touched by humans. Its access is only by boat, sailing through the Ultima Esperanza Fiord. The trip begins in the port of Puerto Natales, and on the way the facilities belonging to Frigorifico Bories -Bories Cold Storage Plant- can be seen, also a little colony of Cormorants and a little colony of Sea lions could be enjoyed. The flora is dominated by different species of beech trees, calafate, chilco and canelo among others. From the boat watch the Balmaceda glacier, instead in order to visit the Serrano glacier a 20-minute walk would be necessary on a path bordering a calving lake originated by the melting of the glacier.
