Day 01 Arrival Panama city

After your arrival to Panama you will be picked up at the airport by our representative and transferred to your city hotel. Panama City is the capital and largest city in Panama. It is home to a lot of different cultures and an enormous historical sector in the Old City, a district famous for its Spanish fortifications and several beautiful buildings from the colonial period. Day 02 Self drive to Pedasi (B)

Meet car agent. Self drive to Pedasi (342km) The Azuero Peninsula is a paradoxical place. It feels isolated from modern Panama, frozen in an idyllic past, with lots of charm and natural beauty left. Azuero is the wellspring of Panama's favorite folkloric traditions beautiful traditional clothing, such as the stunning pollera, and handicrafts, such as ceramics based on pre-Columbian designs, originated and are still made here. The same is true of some important musical and literary traditions. Even Panama's national drink, the sugarcane liquor known as Seco, is made here. At the few beach hotels on Azuero it is still possible to find a deserted seaside paradise. The beaches are wide and long, the waters filled with big fish and, in some places, extensive coral. Day 03 Day at leisure in Pedasi (B)

Time to explore on your own and visit nearby towns and beaches The province Los Santos (the 3rd largest province in Panama) and Herrera make up the peninsula Azuero. Main areas are Pedasi & Las Tablas in the southeast, Chitre up northeast and Ocu in the center, as well as several significant National Parks such as Isla Iguana, Isla Canas (where thousands of turtles go to lay eggs from July to November) and Cerro Hoya. No other place in Panama has such an atmosphere like Azuero with its churches, museums and colonial style houses in soft pastel colors. It is an area with an abundant colonial history, artisenal workshops, and lots of small towns with town squares surrounded by beautiful churches dating back well over 100 years.Visit Azueros for its wildlife: birds paradise, turtles, whales, even crocodiles and the wide variety of fish & corals make snorkeling and diving a paradise. Day 04 Self drive Pedasi-Las Lajas (260km) (B)

Located less than an hour east of David ,Panama's second largest city, in the town of las Lajas in the province of Chiriqui,the entrance to one of the Panama's most famous beaches. Las Lajas Beach Resort

Day 05 Day at leisure at Las Lajas (B)

Spend the day at Las Lajas. The beach is a wide, ten miles, long stretch of sand that’s great for strolling, sunbathing, swimming and relaxing. Day 06 Self drive Las Lajas -Boquete (David) (110km) (B)

Boquete Tucked away on the eastern slopes of Baru Volcano at 1200 meters is the small and charming mountain village of Boquete. Boquete's surrounding hills and slopes are primarily covered in shade-grown coffee plantations, providing a rich product recognized by international connoisseurs. Day 07 Day at leisure in Boquete (B)

Among the numerous activities are hiking, mountain biking, climbing, canopy, and rafting. For the less adventurous, Boquete offers natural hot springs and miles of well marked hiking trails to explore the wonders of the cloud forest. Hotel Finca Lerida

Day 08 Self drive Boquete-David airport/Return Panama (B)

Car drop off Flight David-panama city One way Arrival transfer to hotel Afternoon Half day city tour & Miraflores locks In the morning, your English speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a private tour to Panama City and the Miraflores Locks. You will start the tour with a 30 minutes drive to Miraflores to see the huge vessels passing the Panama Canal. The busiest hours are between 09:00 and 11:00, so you will be able to see many ships getting lifted or lowered 18 meters in two distinct steps. You will enjoy the view on the Locks from a sheltered terrace and listen to the explanations of your guide. To complete the visit of the Canal you will visit the Museum and Visitor Center at Miraflores which gives you a good idea on the construction of the Canal – a masterpiece of engineering. You will also learn about the history of the canal and its significance for Panama and the entire world trade as well as on the current expansion project. After the visit to the Canal you will continue with your guide to the Amador Causeway, a road that connects three Islands in the Pacific Ocean and offers magnificent views on the Canal on one side and of the skyline of Panama City on the other side. The tour continues to the Casco Viejo, Panama City’s colonial quarter. At the Casco Viejo you feel set back in time as you admire the lovely colonial houses, the narrow roads and the impressive churches. While visiting the highlights of this colonial district – the Cathedral, the golden Altar, French Plaza and the Huertas Passway – you will sure get an idea on Panama’s long and interesting history.
