Day 01 Arrival in Lima
Upon arrival in Lima you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Lodging in Lima
Day 02 Lima – Cusco – Urubamba (B)
Early morning transfer to the airport and 40 minute flight to the city of Cusco, the ancient Capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival we start our tour driving northeast towards the Inca’s Sacred Valley. First we will visit the beautiful Inca Ruins of Pisac, continuing then with a visit to the Indian market of the same name. In the afternoon we will visit the impressive fortress of Ollaytantambo. Day 03 Machu Picchu – Cusco (B)
After breakfast, we’ll head towards the Ollanta Station. From here we start a one hour train ride along an impressive canyon dug out by the Vilcanota River on its impetuous way towards the Amazon Rainforest basin. After our arrival in the town of Aguas Calientes, a twenty minute bus ride will take us to the entrance of the citadel, the world famous Machu Picchu where we make a guided tour around the amazing ruins. Day 04 Cusco (B)
In the morning we will visit Cusco’s nearby ruins: Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo and Tambo Machay. In the afternoon you will have free time to enjoy the city and do some last minute shopping. Lodging in Cusco
Day 05 Cusco – Lima – Quito (B)
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima from where you will take a connecting flight to Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Upon arrival in Quito you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening we will enjoy a night City tour of the old Town. Lodging in Quito
Day 06 Quito (B)
In the morning we will take the TeleferiQo (cable car) ride up to the Cruz Loma (3900m) from where we will get a splendid view of the city and the surrounding volcanoes. In the afternoon we will visit the Middle of the World monument. Lodging in Quito
Day 07 Quito – Otavalo – Quito (B)
Today enjoy a full day tour to visit the town of Otavalo, home of the laborious Otavalo Indians. We’ll also visit Cuicocha Lake, San Antonio de Ibarra and Peguche. Lodging in Quito
Day 08 Quito – Galapagos (B)
You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Galapagos. You will start the four day cruise in your chosen boat. The itinerary for the next days will depend of the chosen cruise.
Day 09 (&10) Galapagos (B, L, D)
These days enjoy the best Galapagos activities such as wildlife viewing, snorkeling, etc.
Day 11 Galapagos – Quito (B, L, D)
In the morning, enjoy your last visit in Galapagos and then transfer to Baltra to take your flight back to Quito.
Day 12 Galapagos – Quito - Departure (B)
You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
