Day 01 Arrival in Guatemala city

(Itinerary must star a Wednesday or Saturday) On arrival at Guatemala's La Aurora Airport, our representative will transfer you to Barcelo Guatemala City Hotel for overnight accommodations. This metropolis, of about 3 million of population, presents a contrast panorama between the colonial architecture that is combined with modern buildings, which, with its important museums and history monuments, offer to the tourist a unique experience.

Day 02 Chichicastenango (B)

In the morning, leave for Chichicastenango. On arrival visit the colorful open-air market and Church of Santo Tomas. Hundreds of Indians from the surrounding countryside gather to barter their goods and products. Also, witness the captivating religious ceremonies held on the steps and inside the 400-year old Church of Santo Tomas. The afternoon is at leisure for further shopping or to see the town on your own. Overnight at Mayan Inn

Day 03 Lake Atitlan (B)

In the morning, transfer to Lake Atitlan and join the launch excursion to the picturesque lake-side village of Santiago Atitlan. The afternoon is at leisure for further shopping or to see the town on your own. It is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world by the famous novelist Aldous Huxley. The Lake is 144kms from Guatemala City and without a doubt the most important landmark in Solola and one of the most known in Guatemala. Three spectacular volcanoes, Tolima, Atitlan and San Pedro form the natural frame of the Lake itself. It has a surface of 125 square kilometers and is settled on 1,560 meters above sea level. The Lake complements its beauty with roads, beaches, riverside towns, mountains and volcanoes panoramic. It offers excellent opportunities to practicing fishing sport, sail, kayaks, free falls, aquatic skiing and the naturalistic recreation, as well as visit the Mayan population of the surround. Day 04 Antigua-Guatemala city (B)

After breakfast depart for Antigua where you will visit the most interesting sites: churches, convents, monasteries, and other colonial buildings. After lunch, continue to Guatemala City. A gem of urban planning and colonial architecture, Antigua's features have been preserved as though time were frozen. Because of its immense historical and cultural value, the (UNESCO) named Antigua as a World Heritage site in 1979. Overnight at Barcelo Hotel
