Day 01 Arrival to Mexico City
Upon arrival to Mexico City International airport, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at the Hampton Inn Hotel or similar
Day 02 City Tour Historial Center and Anthropology Museum (B)
Breakfast a hotel. Half day guided visit, including the most important buildings in the historical centre located around the “The Zocalo”, the Cathedral, National Palace, to admire the famous murals of Diego Rivera. Continue to the modern part of the City, ending at the Anthropology Museum (closed on Mondays), one of the World’s 10 best Museums. Return to your hotel (tour duration approx. 05 hours). Day 03 Teotihuacan Pyramids & Shrine of Guadalupe (B)
Breakfast a hotel. Guided excursion to the famous Teotihuacan Pyramids, approx 05 hours excursion starting with a visit to the Virgin de Guadalupe Shrine, place of peregrination of millions of Mexicans and people from all around the world. Continue north of the City, to the Teotihuacan Pyramids, where we will visit the Sun and the Moon Pyramids, the Quetzalcoatl Temple and the fortresses. Day 04 Free Day (B)
Today, spend the day at your leisure. We suggest either an excursion to Cuernavaca or Taxco (not included). Lodging at the Hampton Inn Hotel or similar
Day 05 Mexico / Merida (B)
In the morning, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Merida (domestic flight is not included). Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a three hour guided tour to the “White City”. The tour includes a visit to the Zocalo, the Cathedral and the Paseo Montejo. Merida is the largest city and the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatan. It is home to nearly one million people and is great base camp for anyone ready to visit the many different archaeological sites that the state has to offer. Lodging at El Castellano
Day 06 Uxmal & Kabah (B, L)
Breakfast a hotel. Uxmal is one of the greatest Mayan ceremonial centers; all the buildings are beautifully carved and decorated. You will admire the pyramid of the magician, quadrangle of the nuns, the Governor’s Palace. Uxmal is considered one of the most beautiful pre-Hispanic archaeological sites on the American Continent, due to the proportion of its majestic constructions decorated with fine relief’s, whose precision and elegance astonish us today. As well a guided visit to the Mayan site of Kabah is scheduled, this site is near Uxmal and belongs as well to the Puuc route. There you will observer the temple with the 250 Chaac masks. Day 07 Chichén Itzá / Cancun (B, L)
Breakfast a hotel For many, today’s visit is considered the highlight of this tour: Chichen Itza. Its extraordinary beauty and convenient geographic location makes Chichen Itza one of the most visited archaeological sites on the Yucatan peninsula. Recently elected as one of the 7 modern wonders of the world. Among its main buildings are the observatory and the castle, site of the astronomical phenomenon that occurs every equinox, symbolizing the descent to earth of the god Kukulcan, the feathered serpent. You will enjoy very much this tour. Lunch included. Then continuation on a approximately 3 and ½ hours bus ride till arrival to Cancun. Drop off at your hotel in Cancun or Riviera Maya.
