In this tour you’ll be able to see some of the best highlights in the central part of Ecuador, amidst the Andes. Otavalo is one of the best markets in Latin America, then relax at the Papallacta Hot Springs, before visiting the beautiful Cotopaxi National Park.
Day 1 Quito / Otavalo / Papallacta (L, D)
Today you’ll be driven north to one of South America’s most renowned markets: Otavalo. Surrounded by three nearby volcanoes, Otavalo is a largely indigenous town famous for its textile weavings, something that its citizens have been practicing for hundreds of years. In this growingly popular town, many colonial buildings have been transformed into restaurants and hotels. Then, you’ll head towards Papallacta Hot Springs. Here you’ll have a chance to relax and enjoy the healing volcanic waters. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Lodging at the Termas de Papallacta in Papallacta
Day 2 Quito (L)
Today you’ll visit Cotopaxi. Cotopaxi National Park is one of the most important parks in Ecuador. Do not miss the sights of Cotopaxi Volcano, the second highest peak in the country. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Then, head back to Quito. Lodging at the Patio Andaluz in Quito
Day 3 Departure from Quito (B)
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport.
