Day 01 Arrival to Lima

Upon arrival to Lima, you will be transferred to the hotel. Resting on the Peruvian coastline, Lima is the country’s largest city with nearly ten million people. Declared a World Heritage Site, downtown Lima is filled with many historic, colonial buildings, such as the famous Cathedral of Lima and the Presidential Palace. Visitors will fall in love with the diverse cuisine served in the city’s countless restaurants, including the ever popular exquisite local seafood! Lodging at the Leon de Oro Hotel in Lima

Day 02 Lima / Cusco (B)

In the morning, tour the Colonial zone of Lima, passing by the San Martin Square, Main Square and old Colonial streets in downtown Lima. You will visit also the Cathedral, San Francisco Church and the Convent. You’ll see also the “Olivar” Park at San Isidro and Love’s Park at Miraflores, in the modern part of Lima. Afterwards, you’ll be transferred to the airport. Upon arrival to Cusco, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at the Muñay Wasi Hotel in Cusco

Day 03 Cusco (B)

In the morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour to the Imperial City of Cusco. Some of the landmarks you’ll see are: the main square, which was scene for many key events in Cusco’s history; the Cathedral, built between 1560 and 1664 out of large slabs of red granite; the Santo Domingo Convent, built on the Koricancha, an important temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun. Afterwards, visit the nearby ruins: Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing example of Inca military architecture; Kenko, a ritual site with underground galleries and a semicircular amphitheater; Puka Pukara, the red fortress and finally Tambomachay, the Inca Baths. Day 04 Cusco / Sacred Valley (B, L)

Early in the morning, enjoy an excursion to the Pisac artisan market (Tue, Thu and Sun), where you can buy colorful handicrafts and will have the opportunity to attend a Quechua Mass (Only Sundays). Afterwards, a typical buffet lunch will be served, followed by a tour to the Ollantaytambo Fortress. Ollantaytambo was the site of the only successful Incan battle against the Spanish. Day 05 Cusco / Wiñaywayna / Machu Picchu (B, L)

We’ll depart by bus until Km 104. From here, we cross the Urubamba river and head for the archaeological complex of Choquesuysuy where we will pass through the Inca Trail control point. Here the trail climbs slowly to half-way up the mountain where we arrive at Wiñaywayna, surrounded by lush vegetation. We will pass a high waterfall where we can cool off. We will encounter about twenty constructions which have all been recently restored, as well as an irrigation system and a splendid Inca temple. This afternoon we will continue along the trail to Machu Picchu, enjoying the spectacular scenery. Following a path which is very narrow in places, we eventually arrive at the Sun Gate above Machu Picchu from where we will get our first glimpse of the ruins below us. From here it is a forty minute walk to Machu Picchu. Lodging at the Inti Inn in Aguas Calientes

Day 06 Machu Picchu / Cusco (B)

We will get up early to visit the lost city of Machu Picchu the most famous and impressive Incan site. Divided into three districts; this site was intricately built using impressive, ancient techniques. The citadel is standing at the top of a hill overlooking the Urubamba River. You’ll see the temples, plazas, palaces, watercourses and residential areas. You’ll have some time to explore the ruins on your own. Afterwards, return to Cusco by train and transfer to hotel. Day 07 Cusco (B, BB)

Today, you’ll visit Chincheros, where you’ll encounter the remains of what once was a palace of Túpac Inca Yupanqui, and a nice colonial church built on Inca foundations. Trek to the viewing-point of Urquillos’ Gully. You’ll continue then with the visit to Maras Salt Mines: an arrangement of terraces where salt is gathered in small pools, which are then filled by hot spring water containing a large percentage of salt. These mines were exploited since Inca times. Continue to Moray, where the Incas built terraces that were used as botanical laboratories to improve their harvest. The circular shaped terraces still remain intact. Afterwards, a box lunch is included. Return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Lodging at the Muñay Wasi Hotel in Cusco

Day 08 Cusco / Puno (B, L)

You’ll be transferred to Puno by regular bus. Along the way, you’ll visit some interesting tourist sites as the Inca temple of Raqchi and Andahuailillas Chapel. Lunch in a typical restaurant is served on the way. Upon arrival to Puno you will be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at La Hacienda Hotel in Puno

Day 09 Puno / Suasi (B, L, D)

In the morning you’ll depart towards Suasi Island on Lake Titicaca. You’ll be transferred to the pier to board a motor boat. En route, you'll make a stop to visit one of the Uros floating islands and the south part of Taquile Island. Enjoy the peaceful setting in the beautiful and unexplored Suasi Island! Day 10 Suasi / Puno (B, BB)

In the morning, you can choose one of these activities (included): Hike in the trails of Suasi Island, Tour to a protected area to see typical flora and fauna, Visit to Andean medicinal herb farms, Canoe around Suasi Island, or Walk along the beach. Then you’ll return to Puno by land. Lodging at the Hacienda Hotel in Puno

Day 11 Puno / La Paz (B, L)

You’ll be privately transferred to Copacabana. Then, you’ll depart by Catamaran Cruise to the Sun Island. Lunch will be served on board. Upon arrival to Chua-Huatajata port, you’ll be privately transferred to La Paz. Lodging at the Plaza Hotel in La Paz

Day 12 La Paz / Sucre (B)

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Sucre. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Sucre. You’ll walk in its colonial streets and see landmarks such as the Cathedral, theatres, Bolivar Park and the House of Liberty. Lodging at De La Merced Hotel in Sucre

Day 13 Sucre/ Potosi (B, L, D)

You’ll be transferred to the bus station for your regular bus ride to Potosi. Along the way you’ll encounter many steep slopes, highlands and valleys. In the afternoon, you’ll take a city tour, where you will see some colonial buildings and an artisan market. Lodging at the Hostal Colonial in Potosi

Day 14 Potosi / Uyuni (B, L, D)

Today you’ll be privately transferred to Uyuni. You’ll see the wonderful scenery and rock formations all along the Andes Mountains. Along the way you’ll visit Cerro Rico and Pulacayo mines, and will pass through Chaquilla and Tika Tika villages. Uyuni is a very popular destination, mainly for its salar, but also for its ancient mummies. Lodging at the Jardines de Uyuni Hotel in Uyuni

Day 15 Uyuni /Oruro (B, L, D)

Today you’ll visit Colchani, located on the shores of the amazing Uyuni Salt flats, the largest in the world. Here you’ll see the giant cacti in Pescado Island and will be amazed with the unique scenery provided by this huge white territory. In the evening, you’ll be transferred to the train station for your night train to Oruro. The train ride lasts approximately 7 hours. (Thu & Sun: Expreso del Sur, 00:05 – 07:00; Tue & Fri: Wara Wara train, 01:45 – 09:10) Overnight on board the train

Day 16 Oruro / La Paz (B, L, D)

Upon arrival to Oruro, you’ll be transferred to the bus station for your regular bus ride to La Paz (3 hours approximately). Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Lodging at the Plaza Hotel in La Paz

Day 17 La Paz (B)

In the morning, you'll visit some important city landmarks such as the "Witch" Market, Murillo Square and San Francisco Church (built in 1744). Afterwards, you’ll see the colonial Jaen Street and the residential areas of "Calacoto" and "La Florida". Then, you’ll visit the Moon Valley, which offers unique scenery. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Tiwanaku, one of the most important archaeological complexes in South America. It lays 72 km from La Paz and covers 20 ha. You’ll be able to see "The Sun Gate", the stone pyramid "Akapana", and "Kerikala" Palace. Lodging at the Plaza Hotel in La Paz

Day 18 La Paz / Departure (B)

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your international departure.
