Day 01 Arrival to Lima (B)
Upon your arrival to Lima, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Resting on the Peruvian coastline, Lima is the country’s largest city with nearly ten million people. Declared a World Heritage Site, downtown Lima is filled with many historic, colonial buildings, such as the famous Cathedral of Lima and the Presidential Palace. Day 02 Lima / Paracas (B)
In the morning, enjoy a tour of Lima, the City of Kings. This sightseeing tour includes various points of interest such as the Historic Center, San Martin Square and the Main Square, founded in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro, Peru’s conqueror. You’ll also visit the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral, the Senate Building and Torre Tagle Colonial Palace. You’ll be enchanted by the old streets with colonial mansions and Moorish balconies! Then you will see also the district of San Isidro, with olives brought from Spain in the XVI century, Miraflores Parque Central (Main Park) and Parque Del Amor (Love Park). Afterwards, visit the Gold Museum. In the afternoon, you will be privately transferred to Paracas. After a three hour bus ride (261 km), arrive to your Paracas hotel. Day 03 Paracas / Ica / Nazca (B)
At 8:00 am, you'll depart by motorboat from the pier of Hotel Paracas. On the way to Ballesta islands you'll be able to observe the "Candelabro", a trident-like figure in the sand dunes. Arriving at the islands, you'll be able to watch sea lions and seabirds like the Guanay Cormorants and Peruvian Pelicans. If you are lucky, you might even see one of the famous Humboldt penguins. (Approximate time: 2hrs). Afterwards, you’ll be privately transferred to Nazca. On the way, visit Ica city and the oasis of "Huacachina", with its incredible surrounding sand dunes. Day 04 Nazca / Lima (B)
In the morning, fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines (30 minutes). The Nazca Lines refer to figures created centuries ago in the Nazca Desert. These figures, varying from simple lines to detailed monkeys and lizards can only be viewed from the sky, which means their creators could never actually see their work. Day 05 Lima / Cusco / Sacred Valley (B, L)
Transfer from the hotel to the airport for your internal flight to Cusco. At arrival to Cusco, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the Valley. Enjoy a full day excursion to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas and Pisac typical market. In Pisac, citizens & farmers from near villages come dressed in colorful traditional attire to exchange their goods. You’ll also see a lot of handicrafts for sale (the market is open only on Tue, Thu and Sun). Lunch will be served at a local typical restaurant. Continue to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, which has structures such as the Temple of the Sun, the Royal Hall, the Incahuatana and the Baths of the Princess. Return to the hotel in the Valley. Day 06 Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cusco (B, L)
Transfer from the hotel to the Train Station. A once in a lifetime experience awaits you, on one of the most scenic and interesting train journeys in the world! The picturesque journey along the Urubamba River takes you to the legendary city of the Incas: Machu Picchu. At arrival to the lost city, enjoy a guided tour to the ruins. Lunch is included in a local restaurant. Then, return to Cusco by train. Lodging at the Muñay Wasi in Cusco
Day 07 Cusco (B)
In the morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour to the imperial City of Cusco. Some of the landmarks you’ll see are: the main square, which was scene for many key events in Cusco’s history; the Cathedral, built between 1560 and 1664 out of large slabs of red granite; the Santo Domingo Convent, built on the Koricancha, an important temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun. Afterwards, visit the nearby ruins: Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing example of Inca military architecture; Kenko, a ritual site with underground galleries and a semicircular amphitheater; Puka Pukara, the red fortress and finally the Tambomachay, the Inca Baths. Day 08 Cusco / Lima / Departure (B)
Transfer to the airport. Arrive to Lima in time to connect with your international flight.
