Day 01 Arrival in Santiago
Upon arrival in Santiago international airport you will be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at the Providencia Hotel in Santiago
Day 02 Santiago City tour (B)
After breakfast, enjoy a half day city tour of Santiago, where you'll visit the most interesting areas in the city, such as the Government Palace and San Cristobal Hill. Then, spend the afternoon at leisure (you can take an optional winery excursion). Lodging at the Providencia Hotel in Santiago
Day 03 Santiago /Calama / San Pedro de Atacama / Moon Valley (B)
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Calama, which takes about 2 hours (flight not included). Upon arrival in Calama, you will be transferred to San Pedro de Atacama, an oasis in the middle of the driest desert in the world. Afterwards, explore the Cordillera de la Sal (Salt Mountain Range), with magnificent geological formations and colorful sediments. You will hike through inner valleys, watching caverns, abandoned salt mines and, winding dunes. We will enjoy the Moon Valley at dusk...a magical experience. Day 04 San Pedro de Atacama / Altiplanic Lagoons (B, L)
Today we will visit the Altiplanic (highland) lagoons. At 4 500 meters above sea level, these impressive turquoise blue lagoons are surrounded by imposing volcanoes. Its waters come from underground and are originated by defrosting. During the trip, you will also visit Socaire a local town. Lodging at La Casa de Don Tomas in Atacama.
Day 05 San Pedro de Atacama /Tatio Geysers (B)
Today depart before dawn towards the Andean foothills, where we will see steam fumes, red-hot mud, boiling water puddles and geysers. The unique geological conditions of the Tujle Mountains along with the area's volcanic activity, favored the creation of El Tatio Geysers. We will enjoy breakfast served along the geysers as well as the thermal pools. During the trip, we will see the active Tocorpuri volcano and the amazing Sairecahur (6200m High). Return to San Pedro at mid-day and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Lodging at La Casa de Don Tomas in Atacama
Day 06 San Pedro de Atacama / Calama / Santiago (B)
You will be transferred to Calama for your flight back to Santiago (flight not included). Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at the Providencia Hotel in Santiago
Day 07 Santiago (B)
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your international flight.
