Day 01 Arrival to Buenos Aires

Upon arrival to Buenos Aires airport, you will be met by an English speaking guide who will transfer you to the hotel. Then, you’ll enjoy a three hour city tour. This huge port city is the capital of Argentina and it’s packed with culture! Buenos Aires is home to the famous Teatro Colón Opera House and many museums focused on history, fine arts, and modern arts to name only a few subjects. Other landmarks include noteworthy churches, squares, and plazas, which will leave you truly impressed. Buenos Aires city centre is quite easy for orientation. The two most important avenues are Avenida de Mayo, and Avenue 9 de Julio. The pedestrian zones in the city are the Florida street and the Lavalle street. Towards the north, you’ll find the richer neighborhoods like Recoleta and Palermo. South of the city, you’ll find more modest neighborhoods like San Telmo, with its colonial buildings, and La Boca, one of the birth places of Tango. Lodging at De Las Americas Hotel in Buenos Aires

Day 02 Buenos Aires / Salta (B)

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Salta (not included). Upon arrival to Salta, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you’ll have a city tour of Salta. Here you’ll see the main colonial buildings in the city, and then will climb San Bernardo Hill, from where you’ll get views of the Lerma Valley. Day 03 Humahuaca (B)

Today you’ll have a full day tour to Humahuaca. First you’ll drive about 2 hours north to San Salvador de Jujuy, where you’ll visit the province’s capital city, Jujuy. Then you’ll continue towards the Humahuaca Canyon, incredibly rich in natural and cultural interest. Purmamarca, located west of the canyon, is a quaint village embellished by the “Hill of Seven Colors”. Then, you’ll continue the visit to Tilcara, where you’ll see its famous Pucará, or fortress. From here you’ll get amazing views of the Canyon. Lodging t the Altos de Balarce Hotel in Salta

Day 04 Salta / Cafayate (B)

Today you’ll be transferred to Cafayate. Along the way you’ll see wonderful Andean scenery! Cafayate is famous for its fantastic local wines and breathtaking cultural monuments, such as the cathedral, the main square, and the many wine museums. Do not miss out on wine tasting! Day 05 Cafayate / Tucuman (B)

After breakfast, you’ll visit the ruins of Quilmes, near Quilmes city. The name is derives from the largest indigenous group in Pre-Columbian Argentina. Afterwards, you’ll continue towards Tafi Del Valle until reaching Tucumán. Lodging at the Swiss Metropol in Tucuman

Day 06 Tucuman / Buenos Aires (B)

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires (not included). Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to your city hotel. Lodging at De Las Americas Hotel in Buenos Aires

Day 07 Buenos Aires (B)

This day is yours to spend at leisure. Possible activities are: a tour to an “Estancia” with barbeque lunch, or a Tango show (not included). Lodging at De Las Americas Hotel in Buenos Aires

Day 08 Buenos Aires (B)

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight.
