Day 01 Arrival to Ushuaia

Day 02 Tierra del Fuego and Beagle Channel (B)
This morning, you’ll take an excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park which offers mountain chains, rivers, hard wood forests, acid peat bogs and rocky sea coast. The combination of very different landscapes in a relative small area is quite unique. This is a paradise for bird watchers, as it is the home of condors, giant black carpenter birds, Southern parrots, Thrushes, Fishing Martins among others. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2,5 hour boat ride on the Beagle channel. The tour takes you to the lively Sea Lion Rocky Island and to the Birds Island. This picturesque lighthouse is often seen on postcards and is considered as a Beagle channel landmark. If weather permits, you will enjoy spectacular views to the Mount Olivia, the “Le Martial” glacier as well as the city of Ushuaia. Lodging at the Tolkeyen Hotel in Ushuaia
