This trip will take you to the best spots in beautiful Panama: the amazing Canal, peaceful Boquete and exciting Bocas Del Toro. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about Panama’s history, and do activities such as hiking, bird watching and snorkeling.

Day 01 Friday: Panama City / Transfer In

Upon arrival to Panama City airport, you will be transferred to the Hotel Country Inn and Suites at the Panama Canal (40 min drive). Panama City is the capital and largest city in Panama. It is home to a diverse blend of cultures and a vast historical sector in the Old City, a district famous for its Spanish fortifications and several colonial buildings. Panama City is a location you will surely enjoy during your visit to this gorgeous country. Overnight at Country Inn and Suites

Day 02 Saturday: Partial crossing of the Panama Canal (B, L)

In the morning, enjoy a partial crossing of the historical Panama Canal. You’ll pass different Locks and receive interesting information about the history of the Canal. You will see the enormous cargo ships manoeuvre through the canal. Afterwards, you will have lunch on the ship. After you return to the hotel, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon to spend at your leisure. Overnight at Country Inn and Suites

Day 03 Sunday: Panama City / David / Boquete (B)

You’ll be transferred to the national airport for your one hour flight to David. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven to Boquete. After approximately one hour drive, you’ll reach the small mountain village. Your guide will explain about cultivation, harvest and processing of the coffee bean. You’ll then have the opportunity to sample the coffee. The charming village of Boquete is situated in the mountains of western Panama, and it’s known for its cool sunny weather and rich coffee. Here you can relax and gaze at the marvellous mountain views and partake in some incredible bird watching. Overnight at Isla Verde Lodge

Day 04 Monday: Boquete / Cerro Punta / Boquete (B, L)

In the morning you will drive to Cerro Punta, where you will hike up the hill for approximately six hours (12 km). On this hike you will enjoy the extraordinary scenery: the flowers, coffee plants, the wonderful mountains and animals. With some luck, you’ll be able to see the Quetzal. Day 05 Tuesday: Boquete / Changuinola / Bocas Del Toro (B)

Today you’ll be driven to the Caribbean Coast (approximate driving time: 4 hours). Along the way, you’ll be able to see the famous banana plantations. Upon arrival to Finca 60, you will board a small boat for a 50 minute ride to Isla Colón (Bocas Del Toro). In the laidback town of Bocas del Toro, you’ll have a chance to experience typical Caribbean nature, striking wilderness and fantastic beaches with crystal-clear water. You’ll have the chance to enjoy some water sports such as snorkelling. Overnight at Swan’s Cay Hotel

Day 06 Wednesday: Bocas Del Toro (B)

Today, you’ll enjoy a boat tour to Laguna Bocatorito, where you’ll be able to see dolphins. Then in Coral Key you’ll be able to do some snorkelling. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Red Frog Beach where you’ll have time to swim or relax at the beach. Afterwards, you’ll pass Hospital Point and then back to the main island. Overnight at Swan’s Cay Hotel

Day 07 Thursday: Bocas Del Toro / Panama City Tour (B)

After breakfast you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Panama City. Upon arrival, you’ll have a tour of this cosmopolitan city. Enjoy the gorgeous view of the skyscrapers, the noble mansions and the green hills. Then you will visit a small marketplace where you’ll find lovely Indian handicrafts. Afterwards, you will go along the shore into the old part of the town called Casco Antiguo. There, you’ll walk to the main buildings and landmarks: the President’s Palace, the remarkable cathedral and the San José church with its splendorous altar. The trip leads afterwards to the Causeway, from where you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of Panama’s skyline and Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal. Overnight at Country Inn and Suites

Day 08 Friday: Departure (B)

You’ll be transferred to the Tocumen Airport for your international flight.
