Day 01 Arrival to Lima

Upon arrival to Lima, you will be transferred to the hotel. Resting on the Peruvian coastline, Lima is the country’s largest city with nearly ten million people. Declared a World Heritage Site, downtown Lima is filled with many historic, colonial buildings, such as the famous Cathedral of Lima and the Presidential Palace. Visitors will fall in love with the diverse cuisine served in the city’s countless restaurants, including the ever popular exquisite local seafood! Lodging at the Leon de Oro in Lima

Day 02 Lima / Arequipa (B)

You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Arequipa is one of the country’s most important cities. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Arequipa´s historic downtown is home to many white buildings made with a pearly volcanic rock. While here, enjoy the city’s many famous plazas, squares, parks, and historic structures and monuments. In the afternoon, visit the city of Arequipa and the Santa Catalina Convent. Day 03 Arequipa / Puno (B)

Today you’ll be transferred to the bus station for your 6 hour regular bus ride to Puno. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Located along Lake Titicaca, Puno is known for its strong culture, such as their handicrafts and dancing and has thus been referred to as Peru’s folkloric capital. Here you will enjoy the atmosphere and culture and take in the impressive sights that Puno has to offer. Lodging at the Casa Andina Hotel in Puno

Day 04 Puno / Copacabana / Sun Island (B, L, D)

Depart from Puno towards Bolivia along Lake Titicaca. Along the way, visit the village and church of Pomata. Upon arrival to Copacabana in Bolivia, visit the Basilica. Then, cruise to the Sun Island, where you will visit the historical site of Inca Step and Fountain, and Pilkokaïna archaeological site. Lodging in the Sun Island

Day 05 Sun Island / La Paz (B)

Today you’ll visit the other side of the island. Then, you’ll continue towards Copacabana by boat, from where you’ll be privately transferred to La Paz. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the City of La Paz, one of the highest cities in the world, and the Moon Valley. Lodging at the Hotel El Dorado in La Paz

Day 06 La Paz / Sucre (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Sucre. Upon arrival, you’ll be privately transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the city and the ASUR Textile Museum. Lodging at Hotel De Su Merced in Sucre

Day 07 Potosi / Sucre (B)

Today, you’ll be transferred to Potosi, where you’ll visit the “Casa de la Moneda” and the mines. Then you’ll return to Sucre. Lodging at Hotel De Su Merced in Sucre

Day 08 Sucre (B, L)

Today you’ll enjoy a full day visit to the Tarabuco Fair (only on Sundays), where you’ll see the locals dressed in their typical colorful attire. You’ll have the opportunity to shop for many of Bolivia’s traditional handicrafts! Lunch is included. Lodging at Hotel De Su Merced in Sucre

Day 09 Sucre / La Paz (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to La Paz. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at Hotel Dorado in La Paz

Day 10 La Paz / Desaguadero / Puno (B)

In the morning, you’ll be privately transferred to Desaguadero. Along the way you’ll visit the Tiwanaku Ruins; the remains of an ancient Pre Inca culture. Their ceramic objects were quite unique, as well as their style of architecture. Then, continue towards Puno, where you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at the Casa Andina Hotel in Puno

Day 11 Puno / Cusco (B, L)

You’ll be transferred to the bus station for your regular bus ride to Cusco. Along the way, you’ll visit some interesting archeological sites such as Raqchi and Andahualillas (entrance fees not included). Lunch will be served in a typical restaurant. Upon arrival to Cusco, you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Lodging at the San Agustin Internacional Hotel in Cusco

Day 12 Cusco (B)

In the morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour to the Imperial City of Cusco. Some of the landmarks you’ll see are: the main square, which was scene for many key events in Cusco’s history; the Cathedral, built between 1560 and 1664 out of large slabs of red granite; the Santo Domingo Convent, built on the Koricancha, an important temple dedicated to the worship of the Sun. Afterwards, visit the nearby ruins: Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing example of Inca military architecture; Kenko, a ritual site with underground galleries and a semicircular amphitheater; Puka Pukara, the red fortress and finally Tambomachay, the Inca Baths. Day 13 Machu Picchu / Sacred Valley (B, L)

Early morning escorted transfer to the train station, where you will board the train headed to Aguas Calientes station. Then, transfer by bus to the ruins. Afterwards, enjoy a guided excursion to the Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu. This is the most famous and impressive Incan site. Divided into three districts; this site was intricately built using impressive, ancient techniques. In the afternoon return to the Valley, where you will be transferred to the hotel Lodging at the Casona Yucay Hotel in the Sacred Valley

Day 14 Sacred Valley / Cusco (B, L)

In the morning, enjoy a full day excursion that will take you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the Urubamba valley, visit to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo which once played an important role in protecting the Inca civilization. Then, visit Pisac, with its typical market (Thu, Tue and Sun), and its picturesque cultivated terraces in the mountain slopes. Lunch is included. Lodging at the San Agustin Internacional in Cusco

Day 15 Cusco /Lima / Departure (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Then, connect with your international flight.
