End your trip at Santa Marta the oldest city in South America ,and the beaches of the Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona, fringed by a virgin and exuberant nature, which are among the most beautiful in the world.

Day 01 Arrival at Bogota

Arrival at Bogota and met with guide, transfer to hotel. With its population of some eight million people, Bogota is the largest city in Colombia, which makes it a great cultural center. Here you will find many parks, gardens, restaurants, and hotels. You can see the sights and historic structures or enjoy the nightlife. Bogota offers something for everybody!

Day 02 Bogota Private Half Day City Tour with Paloquemao

This guided visit to the Colombian capital starts in the Plaza de Bolivar (the city's main square), which is surrounded by federal government buildings, and continues into the old colonial part of the city better known as La Candelaria, the San Francisco Church and the Gold Museum (closed on Mondays). Continue with a trip in a cable car to the top of the Monserrate Hill, which offers a spectacular view of the city. Finally you will visit the typical market place Paloquemao. You will see typical fruits, vegetables and other food products of the region. Have an authentic insight in the everyday life of Colombians.


Day 03 Bogota-Cartagena

Transfer to local airport. Flight Bogota-Cartagena not included. Arrival Cartagena and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon tour Half Day Walking Tour Cartagena in private Cartagena de Indias is without a doubt  one of the most beautiful cities in America. Its historic downtown, walled by the fortifications built in the colonial time, still preserves its original architecture and nowadays the walled city is shown in an endless number of colors that fill it with life and Caribbean charm. His fascinating history as one of the pearls of that time, place where treasures were stored and largest port for slaves, gives Cartagena, city declared heritage of humanity by UNESCO, an enormous importance. Stories about severe pirates attacks remain present in numerous fortresses that remain intact until today. The walking City-Tour starts in a hotel in the Walled city.  In a 3 hours walk we will visit the San Diego Square, Fernandez de Madrid square, Bolivar Park, The Square of the Carriages and Santo Domingo Square. Besides we will walk on the fortress-walls and down the most emblematic streets while listening about fantastic legends, we visit the Cathedral and some other important churches like Santo Domingo. (Price includes travel and guide for hotels inside the walled city. For hotels outside the city walls, the transfer to the walled city must be added.)

Day 04 Rosario Island Tour

ROSARIO ISLANDS INCLUDING LUNCH: ISLA DE MAJAGUA Our departure takes off in speed boat from the Muelle Santa Cruz towards Rosario Islands and Isla de Majagua. On arrival, a fruit cocktail is served. Now we have time to swim or relax on the small island with white sandy beaches awaits you. The trip continues to San Martin Island with a visit of the aquarium and a chance to see performing dolphins and sharks. After that we begin the return trip to Pirate Island. After lunch (Fish, Coconutrice and a great dessert is served) we will have more time to relax, swim or snorkel. In the afternoon we return to Cartagena. (Trip will be conducted in the company of an international group of tourists, under the supervision of a bilingual guide. The entrance to the aquarium costs 13 USD per person and is not included). Please note that there's no individual tour guide on board just a general one for the whole group.

Day 05 Ground Private Transfer Cartagena-Santa Marta

Trip in an air-conditioned automobile or tourist bus, from your hotel in Cartagena to your hotel in Santa Marta, including pick up and drop off at your hotel.

Duration: 4-5 hours.

Day 06 Day at Leisure in Santa Marta

Today you can explore on your own. An ideal way to see Santa Marta is to walk through the Historic Downtown area, stopping at the Cathedral, the museums and the Camellon de Bastidas.


Day 07 Tayrona Park shared service

TAYRONA PARK (ARRECIFES/CANAVERAL) Departure from Santa Marta in the morning heading east along the Caribbean coast until we reach El Zaino, the main entrance of the Tayrona National Park, about half an hour drive from Santa Marta. Arrival at Canaveral beach, one of the wildest and most beautiful spots in the Tayrona National Park. From the top of a small hill it will be possible to enjoy a spectacular view of the Atlantic Coast. The tour continues with a 1-hour hike through the tropical forest to Arrecife, another marvelous beach in the Tayrona National Park. There will be plenty of time to have lunch (not included), swim and relax.
