This guided visit to the Colombian capital starts at the Plaza de Bolivar (the city's main square), which is surrounded by federal government buildings, and continues into the old colonial part of the city better known as La Candelaria, the San Francisco Church, the Gold Museum (closed on Mondays) and the Emerald Museum. We then seek higher grounds by taking a cable car to the top of the Monserrate Hill, which offers a spectacular view of the city. The tour finishes in the north of Bogota in a shopping center called Hacienda Santa Barbara in Usaquen, which is a small colonial village now surrounded by the city. Duration: approximately 8 hours

This day trip combines a visit of the flower village Santa Elena and a tour to the famous Peñol Boulder in Guatape. Start the day in the small village of Santa Elena, which is located high up in the mountains of Antioquia less than an hour outside of Medellin. Visit the area where the well-known floral arrangements come from, that have become a famous symbol of Medellin. Travel through the green hills to the Peñol Boulder in Guatape, known as one of the most spectacular destinations in the surrounding area of Medellin and climb the 200 meters high monolith through a staircase of 740 steps. In Santa Elena we visit an organic flower farm, enjoy the local food and get in touch with the traditional culture of the mountain villages of Antioquia. In Guatape we enjoy breathtaking views over the stunning surroundings full of green mountains and blue lakes. Guatape is a quiet, little place with pleasantly warm climate and colourful paintings decorating the houses of the village. Includes Typical Lunch.
