Colombia, a tropical country of incredible diversity and charm.Starting in Colombia's capital, Bogota, you can explore the old and new districts, and then head to the highlands of the coffee region, home to some of the world's best-loved coffee beans. Visit Colombia’s second most important city, Medellin, which rises in the center of a valley, with a year-round spring-like weather, and its gorgeous flowers and mountains. Discover colonial history and Caribbean beaches, wandering the cobblestones of Cartagena.

Day 01 Arrival at Bogota

Upon arrival meet guide and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 Full day Guided City Tour

This guided visit to the Colombian capital starts at the Plaza de Bolivar (the city's main square), which is surrounded by federal government buildings, and continues into the old colonial part of the city better known as La Candelaria, the San Francisco Church, the Gold Museum (closed on Mondays) and the Emerald Museum. We then seek higher grounds by taking a cable car to the top of the Monserrate Hill, which offers a spectacular view of the city. The tour finishes in the north of Bogota in a shopping center called Hacienda Santa Barbara in Usaquen, which is a small colonial village now surrounded by the city. Duration: approximately 8 hours


Day 03 Bogota/Pereira Afternoon Coffee Tour

Breakfast and transfer to airport for local flight Morning flight Bogota/Pereira (not included ) Upon arrival, welcome by the local guide and departure for a romantic Hacienda. In the afternoon visit to a special coffee growing farm. This exciting visit includes a technical and practical introduction to the whole coffee cultivation and production process, from harvest to the cup. We will learn what it is like to be a coffee harvester and have a truly authentic experience.

Day 04 Cocora Valley & Salento village

With breathtaking landscapes, this is one of the most beautiful valleys in Colombia. Here one will find the impressive Palma de Cera, the official Colombian national tree and one of the tallest species of palm in the world. On the way back to Armenia, we visit Salento, a picturesque village with artisan and crafts shops.


Day 05 Pereira /Medellin Afternoon Half Day City tour

Transfer to airport - flight Pereira-Medellin (not included) Upon arrival to Medellin meet guide and transfer to hotel Afternoon City tour: This guided visit will cover all the most important main sights of this beautiful and modern city. This tour takes you in just 4 hours to the most important touristic sights of the “City of Eternal Spring”. Explore downtown Medellin and the historical centre and listen to local musicians and the traditional Guasca music while visiting the Parque Berrio. Stroll through the hustle and bustle of downtown Medellin to the famous Botero Plaza with an exhibition of the Colombian artist Fernando Botero, whose sculptures have become a landmark of the city. Take the Metro Cable up to Santo Domingo, which has once been a notorious area of gang violence in Medellin. The cable car was constructed to make the inner city more accessible to people from the outskirts, and allows visitors a glimpse into the lives of the marginalized population. While enjoying the spectacular view you learn more about the transformation of Medellin from one of the most dangerous cities in the world into a fascinating melting pot of cultures with possibly the friendliest and warmest people in the world.  Duration: approximately 4 hours.


Day 06 El Peñol & Guatapé

This day trip combines a visit of the flower village Santa Elena and a tour to the famous Peñol Boulder in Guatape. Start the day in the small village of Santa Elena, which is located high up in the mountains of Antioquia less than an hour outside of Medellin. Visit the area where the well-known floral arrangements come from, that have become a famous symbol of Medellin. Travel through the green hills to the Peñol Boulder in Guatape, known as one of the most spectacular destinations in the surrounding area of Medellin and climb the 200 meters high monolith through a staircase of 740 steps. In Santa Elena we visit an organic flower farm, enjoy the local food and get in touch with the traditional culture of the mountain villages of Antioquia. In Guatape we enjoy breathtaking views over the stunning surroundings full of green mountains and blue lakes. Guatape is a quiet, little place with pleasantly warm climate and colourful paintings decorating the houses of the village. Includes Typical Lunch.


Day 07 Medellin/Cartagena

Transfer hotel/airport just driver Flight Medellin-Cartagena is not included Upon arrival to Cartagena meet with guide and transfer to your hotel.

Day 08 Walking the VXI Century Cartagena Walled city

Let yourself be carried away by the incredible and majestic tour of the Old City where you will discover the enchantment of the Cartagena nights. Live it up and surround yourself in the mysticism of its narrow streets and plazas filled with stories and discover the meaning of their names. Don't hesitate to participate and enjoy this walkas the best alternative to discovering even more of the charm of our Corralito de Piedra. Duration: approximately 3 hours.


Day 09 Day at leisure in Cartagena

Today you can enjoy the beach, or take an optional tour to Isla Rosario (not included)


Day 10 Departure

Transfer out to airport according to your flight. End of services
